Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2019

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Following Feridun Hamdullahpur was Vice-President, Academic and Provost James Rush, with annual earnings of $399,680.76. Professor Raymond Laflamme made $322,455.36, Vice-President, Advancement Joanne Shoveller made $316,613.28, and Professor Ken Seng Tan round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $310,591.52 for the University of Waterloo 2019 Sunshine List.
